When does Alaska Airlines have promotions?
Alaska Airlines’ customers can sign up for the carrier’s email deals to receive exclusive offers and save on hotel bookings and car rental with discounts. The airline also runs seasonal sales and regularly posts cheap flight deals on the website available in two fares: saver and main fare.
Alaska Airlines luggage size and weight
Passengers flying with Alaska Airlines are entitled to one free carry-on and one smaller bag, such as a purse, briefcase or laptop that must fit under the seat and in the overhead locker. The carry-on may not be larger than 22'' x 14'' x 9'' including wheels and handles. Registered baggage costs $30 for the first bag and $40 for the second bag. Any item may not exceed the maximum dimensions of 62 inches or 157 centimeters measurements and 50 pounds or 23 kilograms weight. Alaska Airlines will collect a fee of $100 for any excess baggage, i.e. from 51 to 100 pounds or 24 to 46 kilograms. Heavier baggage will not be accepted.
What planes does Alaska Airlines have in its fleet?
Alaska Airlines operates a young fleet of 166 Boeing 737 aircraft, 71 Airbus A320 family aircraft, 35 Bombardier Q400 aircraft, and 58 Embraer 175 aircraft. The airline's standard livery features a blue Alaska logo and an image of a native Alaskan Eskimo. Boeing 737-400 aircraft had a Disney-themed livery on it, which was later reintroduced on a Boeing 737-900 jet. Horizon Air, Alaska Air’s subsidiary, aircraft wear liveries featuring different universities, for instance, Montana State University, University of Washington, San Diego State University, Boise State University, University of Alaska Anchorage, University of Alaska Fairbanks or University of Idaho.

Friendly flight attendants
I was very grateful for the assistance in getting me on a flight. However the attendants weren’t very friendly or even have a smile. I understand right now are scary times. But even more reason to be friendly to others.
